To address the gap in male-focused laser research, this case study evaluates the Alpha System’s 3rd Generation POWER-MOTION™ LLD Diode Laser exclusively in men. Four healthy volunteers between 28 and 45 years old (Fitzpatrick II–IV) participated in a series of five treatment sessions. Each session delivered continuous-motion 808 nm energy at fluence settings ranging from 12 to 18 J/cm², with contact cooling maintained at 5 °C to ensure patient comfort.
Clinical outcomes were measured through standardized imaging of nine body zones before and after treatment. Results revealed an average 90 % reduction in terminal hair density, with participants reporting minimal discomfort (average pain score of 2.3 out of 10). Treatment times were brief – 10 to 20 minutes per zone, with no consumable expenses and zero required downtime, allowing patients to resume daily activities immediately.
These findings demonstrate that POWER-MOTION™ technology delivers rapid, reliable hair reduction tailored to male skin characteristics. For aesthetic clinics, this protocol offers a high-throughput, cost-effective service that addresses the thicker, denser hair of male patients.
